BATON ROUGE, La. – In an event highlighted with current Olympians and some of the best track and field athletes in the country, the Nicholls State University women's track team rose to the challenge at the LSU Alumni Gold meet led by Tessni Carruthers' new school record in the 1500-meter run and Jaimee Springer's fifth javelin title of the season and personal record.
