LAKE CHARLES, La. – With the bulk of the team competing Saturday, the Nicholls State University women's track and field team started the 2013 Southland Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships with the first individual title for Jaimee Springer and three runners qualifying for Sunday's finals in Tessni Carruthers, Kryshell Rolle and Jackie White.
